Rep. Curbelo Named to Republican Conference Whip Team

Statement

Seven months into his first term in Congress, Rep. Curbelo (FL-26) has been appointed to the House Republican Whip team in the U.S. House of Representatives.

"Serving on the Whip team affords me a greater role in the policymaking process and will make me a more effective advocate for South Florida in Congress. I am grateful to Majority Whip Steve Scalise for his trust and for giving me this opportunity. Together we will continue working to advance solutions to improve the lives of all Americans-- especially those struggling to get by."

Majority Whip Steve Scalise (LA-01) offered the following statement on Rep. Curbelo's appointment:
