U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) issued the following statement in response to the resignation of Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Director Katherine Archuleta:
"While today's development is a welcome one, the failure of the Obama Administration to properly secure the sensitive, personal information of more than twenty million Americans cannot be fixed by the departure of one administrator. It is past time for President Obama to take responsibility for this massive security breach, and the Administration must take concrete steps to ensure this sort of breakdown does not happen again."
