Rep. Gosar Condemns Latest Planned Parenthood Scandal, Calls for Firing of Medical Services Director Deborah Nucatola

Statement

Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after media reports and video emerged on Wednesday reportedly showing Planned Parenthood's Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, discussing how Planned Parenthood harvests the body parts of unborn babies:

"As a father of three children and as a health care provider, I am absolutely appalled and disgusted by reports that Planned Parenthood has allegedly been harvesting unborn baby parts. This blatant disregard for humanity should repulse all Americans, regardless of political ideology.

"An apology doesn't cut it and I call on Planned Parenthood to fire Dr. Nucatola for her disturbing statements and tone. Furthermore, I fully support House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte's call for a Congressional investigation into the inhumane acts described in these reports. If these allegations are proven to be true, all federal funding to Planned Parenthood should be immediately terminated and the people engaged in these horrific acts should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law."
