Scalise Statement on Passage of American Trade Bill

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) issued the following statement regarding American trade:

"Once again, House Republicans have acted to pass critical American trade legislation that will give U.S. workers a competitive edge, so that we can create jobs and grow a healthy economy here at home. A bipartisan majority in Congress sent a strong message to our allies around the world that America is committed to leading the global economy, and that we--not China--will set the rules of the road on trade."
