United States Congressman Todd Young (R-IN) issued the following statement in response to the announcement of a final nuclear agreement between the P5+1 nations and Iran:

"I am highly skeptical of this agreement,"said Congressman Young (R-IN). "One lesson learned during my time as an officer in the Marine Corps, was the difficulty in deterring covert military operations such as Iran's nuclear program. The red-lines given up and the long list of concessions made by the administration--that we already know of--were extremely disappointing.

"Congress now has the responsibility to review the deal in its entirety, examine what other dangerous concessions were made, and evaluate them in the context of what is best for our national security and the security of our allies in the region."
