Sessions Applauds Passage of Intel Reauthorization Measure

U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chairman of the House Rules Committee, today issued the following statement after voting in favor of H.R. 2596, the Intelligence Authorization for Fiscal Year 2016 Act:

"This important measure provides our intelligence community with the resources it needs to address potential threats to our homeland and respond as needed to keep Americans safe. I am pleased this bill carefully weighs our national security needs with the necessity to spend our funds wisely. I applaud my colleagues in the House for passing this important measure with bipartisan support, and I look forward to the president's signature."
