Today, Reps. Phil Roe, M.D. (R-TN) and Linda Sánchez (D-CA) released the following statement after their legislation to repeal the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) was approved by the House Committee on Ways and Means:

"We are proud our bill to repeal the deeply flawed Independent Payment Advisory Board was approved by the Ways and Means Committee with bipartisan support. We are hopeful House leaders will bring a bill to the floor that ensures strong support from both Republicans and Democrats for this important effort."
