Dear Friend,

Based on your interest in veterans' issues, I am writing to inform you about an event I am hosting to raise awareness about healthcare options for Ventura County veterans.

Since taking office, I have worked to expand veterans' access to healthcare. Congress has created the Veterans Choice Program and the Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) program, which enable veterans to access care in the community where VA care services are limited or not available.

These programs can provide an important bridge to ensure that veterans have access to the care that they need in a timely manner. On Monday, June 22, I will be bringing representatives from TriWest, Health Net, and the Department of Veterans Affairs to Ventura County for a forum to provide veterans, veterans' stakeholders, and healthcare providers the opportunity to learn about the VA's Choice and PC3 programs.
