Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-5) released the following statement today after Governor Larry Hogan's announcement that he has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma:

"I was saddened to learn of Governor Hogan's cancer diagnosis today. My thoughts and prayers are with the Governor and his family as he begins this battle against cancer and moves through a period of treatment and recovery. I join the entire state of Maryland in standing with him and offering our support."
