Mr. NORCROSS. Mr. Chairman and my colleagues from New Jersey, I stand in support of this amendment, and I appreciate the fact that Congressman MacArthur has kept in the forefront how important this is, not just for New Jersey but for our Nation as a whole.

We are strategically located in that one area that makes it extremely efficient to refuel. More importantly, we have two ways of getting the fuel to those planes, which is so strategically important. It is over land and it is underground. That has been why McGuire-Fort Dix has been the place for this command to be joined together for years and years. I think this is not only strategically smart for our country, but this is an efficient way of spending the taxpayers' money to make sure that we get the best bang for the buck.
