Governor Maggie Hassan today issued the following statement on the U.S. Commerce Department report that New Hampshire's economy grew 2.3 percent in 2014, greater than the national rate and tied for the highest in New England:
"Our 2014 economic growth rate is another encouraging sign that our economy continues strengthen, demonstrating that our bipartisan efforts over the last two years to invest in our shared priorities have made important progress for the people and businesses of New Hampshire. In order to continue this progress, we know that we must continue working across party lines to make strategic investments in the shared priorities that will help us expand middle class opportunity, support job-creating business, encourage innovation and attract and retain more young people in New Hampshire."
