Governor Maggie Hassan today issued the following statement on the announcement that New Hampshire's unemployment rate dropped to 3.8 percent in April:
"As our unemployment rate continues to decrease - falling to 3.8 percent in April - it is clear that our bipartisan efforts over the last two years to invest in our shared priorities have made important progress for the people and businesses of New Hampshire. Despite this progress, we know that we must continue working together across party lines to make strategic investments in the shared priorities that will help us expand middle class opportunity, support job-creating business, encourage innovation and attract and retain more young people in New Hampshire."
