Following today's announcement that New Hampshire's unemployment rate dropped to 3.9 percent in February, Governor Maggie Hassan issued the following statement:
"The unemployment rate announcement for February is another encouraging sign that our economy continues to strengthen, with our bipartisan efforts over the last two years to invest in our shared priorities making important progress for the people and businesses of New Hampshire. Although our unemployment rate fell to 3.9 percent in February, we know that we must continue working together to expand middle class opportunity, support job-creating businesses, encourage innovation, and attract and retain more young people here in New Hampshire."
