Dear friends,
There is a heated debate among American businesses of whether or not to keep the United States Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im). That debate spilled over into the House Financial Services Committee last week where we heard testimony from company heads on both sides of the issue and the Chairman of the bank. As you will see in my exchange with him below, I am concerned that the Ex-Im bank is better serving the interests of politicians -- in this instance the Clintons -- than the American people.
Thank you: Thank you very much to the American Legion for honoring me as your regional legislator of the year. It is my humble honor to represent our Veterans and military families in Congress. From awarding long overdue medals and honors, to greeting honor flights and hosting roundtable discussions, it is a true perk of this position and I am honored to do it. Here are a few snapshots from last week's meeting and presentation in Cable.
It is my privilege to serve all the hardworking people of Wisconsin's 7thDistrict. If there is ever anything my team or I can do to make life a little easier for you, please don't hesitate to call on us. Until next week
Have a great week!
Sean
