Today, Governor Rick Scott signed SB 7028, extending out-of-state tuition fee waivers to eligible spouses and dependents of veterans who live in Florida.
Governor Scott said, "Today I'm proud to support Florida veterans by signing SB 7028, extending in state tuition rates to the spouses and children of veterans. The sacrifices veterans make to defend our freedom are often shared by their families, and we want to make sure every veteran's family gets the opportunity of a great education at an affordable price here in Florida. We will continue to work every day to make Florida the most military friendly state in the country."
