Congressman Marc Veasey, TX-33, released the following statement following last night's seven inches of rain that has caused wide-spread flooding across the DFW Metroplex:

"My thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to all who have been affected by the torrential rain and floods in our North Texas community. Additionally, I want to thank our first responders that have been working around the clock to help those affected by this historic flooding."
