Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Oil and Gas

Today Congressman Kevin Cramer applauded the start-up of operations at the Dakota Prairie Diesel Refinery near Dickinson, ND. The refinery is a joint venture between MDU Resources Group, Inc. and Calumet Specialty Products Partners and will provide employment for nearly 80 people.

"I was proud to participate in the ground breaking ceremony a few years ago and I am equally excited to see the project come online. North Dakota continues to be at the epicenter of the energy revolution in America. This refinery is just another brick in the foundation of rebuilding America's energy markets and is a perfect fit in Western North Dakota where diesel fuel is in high demand. I look forward to welcoming more energy projects to North Dakota and across the country as more people enjoy the benefits of America's energy renaissance," said Cramer.

Congressman Cramer is a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. He serves on the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, the Subcommittee on Environment and the Economy, and the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
