Cramer: House Passes Highway Trust Fund Extension

oday, Congressman Kevin Cramer joined a majority of his colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives to pass H.R. 2353, Highway and Transportation Funding Act of 2015. This bill would reauthorize the federal highway and local mass transit programs through July 31, 2015.

"This temporary fix ensures important road and transportation construction projects will continue without delay. The extension is important in states like North Dakota where unpredictable weather creates a shortened construction season. The hope is this extension allows the House, the Senate and the President to negotiate a long term fix to fund our nation's highway and transportation infrastructure needs well into the future," said Cramer.
