Chairman McCaul Welcomes Rep. Dan Donovan to the Committee

U.S. House Rep. Dan Donovan, R-N.Y., joined the Committee on Homeland Security yesterday as H.Res.272 passed the House floor. He will serve on the Subcommittee on Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Communications and the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Security Technologies. U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul released the following statement:

Chairman McCaul: "I am pleased to welcome Representative Dan Donovan to the Committee. His investigative skills from serving as a district attorney will prove invaluable as we continue our oversight of the third largest Federal agency. It is imperative that the Department of Homeland Security runs effectively and efficiently since threats to the homeland are only growing more concerning by the day. I look forward to working with Dan as the Committee seeks to better protect our national security while safeguarding taxpayers' dollars."
