Fleischmann Votes to Protect Unborn Children

Statement

This afternoon, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 36, the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. After passage, Rep. Fleischmann, who cosponsored this legislation, released the following statement.

"I firmly believe each and every life is precious, and it is our responsibility to protect those who have no voice. Today, we voted to protect one of God's greatest gifts and save unborn lives. Children are a blessing and as a society, we must support and cherish these innocent lives. I am proud to protect the right to life and defend those who cannot speak for themselves."
