Duffy VA Bills Clamp Down on Bad Actors in the VA

Statement

U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (WI-07) introduced two bills today to clamp down on bad actors in the VA system. The bills stem from a frustrating exchange Rep. Duffy had with VA officials during a field hearing in Tomah last month:

"Our Veterans -- and their families- expect the care that they were promised. It is bad enough when they don't receive it, but that American heroes have died while corrupt VA employees continue to receive a taxpayer funded paycheck is criminal.

Rep. Duffy continued, "These bills are two steps, of what I hope will be many, towards bringing accountability and transparency to the system and restoring trust for our Veterans."
