U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) today praised Senate passage of his bipartisan Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act to crack down on all perpetrators of human trafficking and aid its many victims:
"As a lawmaker, but more importantly as a father, husband, and citizen of this great country, I feel I have a responsibility to protect our nation's most vulnerable. I am pleased that once again we have come together in a bipartisan effort towards solving a major problem facing our country: human trafficking. But our work is not finished, and we must continue to fight until all of our children can be freed of the threat posed by this heinous crime."
