Menendez, Booker Announce Over $1.5M for NJ Airports

U.S. Senators Robert Menendez and Cory Booker (both D-NJ) today announced $1,525,000 in federal funding for Millville Municipal Airport and Trenton-Mercer Airport. The funding is awarded through the Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration.

"I always encourage strong investments in our transportation infrastructure," said Sen. Menendez. "Our residents, tourists and economy depend on reliable travel service, which is why I will continue fighting to preserve the safety and improve the efficiency of all of our state's airports."

"Our transportation infrastructure is the playing field on which our economy competes, and we need to make sure New Jersey is at the top of its game," said Sen. Booker. "Properly investing in our airports and infrastructure is good business sense, creates jobs, and spurs economic growth.
