U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) issued the following statement after Judge Andrew Hanen last night denied the Department of Justice's request to allow the President's unilateral actions on immigration to temporarily move forward:

"The President's unilateral actions on immigration undermine our laws and simply will not stand. I'm encouraged by yesterday's ruling, and Republicans in Congress will continue to stand up for the American people by fighting for the rule of law."
