Congressman Roger Williams (R-Texas) today issued the following statement after the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced it will not "at this time" issue a ruling that would have banned M855 "green tip" ammunition:
"I applaud the ATF's decision to withdraw its proposal that would have banned ammunition used by many hunters and everyday sporting enthusiasts," said Williams. "Second amendment rights are held sacred by me, my district and my state, and I am glad that law abiding gun owners will be spared one more day from this anti-gun administration."
