Press Release

Date: Feb. 21, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (HI-02) tonight will address West Point's Class of 2015 at their annual 100th Night Show.

"I'm honored to address West Point's Class of 2015 tonight, as they end their tenure at one of our nation's most celebrated military academies," said Congresswoman Gabbard. "These cadets have made a commitment at a young age, to dedicate their lives in the service of our nation, joining the Long Grey Line that makes this institution a cornerstone of American history."

The 100th Night Show, a West Point tradition dating back to 1871, is written and produced by fourth-year cadets. Open to the public and staged exactly 100 nights before graduation, the lighthearted show takes a look at the life of cadets at West Point.

Previous speakers who have addressed the Class of 2015 include U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, German Minister of Defence Thomas de Maiziere, former U.S. Secretary for Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki, and former commander of the U.S. Special Operations Command Admiral William H. McRaven.
