Following reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address a joint session of Congress, Congressman Mike Turner released the following statement:
"The threat of violent Islamic Terrorism and the danger of a nuclear Iran are not isolated to any one part of the world. We must work together with the nation of Israel and all our allies to confront these global challenges.
I strongly support Speaker Boehner's initiative and decision to invite Prime Minister Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress and am glad to hear that the Prime Minister has accepted his invitation.
The nation of Israel and its people continue to have my full support."
