Cramer Statement on Passage of Funding for Department of Homeland Security

Statement

Date: March 4, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Kevin Cramer (R-ND) made the following comments after the House of Representatives approved funding for the Department of Homeland Security.

"This afternoon I voted against the "clean" funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security. I am disappointed we were unable to pass legislation which would have funded the Department of Homeland Security while at the same time defunded President Obama's unconstitutional executive overreach on immigration. However the fight is not over; I remain committed to working with both Democrats and Republicans who believe in the rule of law to roll back President Obama's executive actions on immigration."
