As part of his First 5 for '15 © legislative package U.S. Representative Sean Duffy (WI-07) introduces H.R. 352 Evironmental Protection Agency Accountability Act of 2015, a bill to hold the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to the same standard that it holds American businesses:

Rep. Duffy offered, "The EPA has long been known to issue onerous and costly rulings with little regard for the impact on American businesses and the families who run them. Adding to the frustration, the EPA often ignores long-standing statutes that require them to improve their own regulatory coordination, planning and review.

"This bill hits the EPA where it has hurt so many Americans -- in their pocketbook. For each week that the EPA fails to meet these requirements, its budget will be docked by $20,000.

"American families can't afford for the EPA to continue with duplicative and overreaching regulations, the EPA should not be able to afford it either."
