Today, Dr. Raul Ruiz (D-Palm Desert) announced the introduction of his legislative package designed to help small businesses create jobs in the Coachella Valley and across the country. Dr. Ruiz outlined his plan for the region's business community today at the SCORE Congressional Breakfast.

"This legislative package takes firm steps to help foster a pro-business, pro-job creation environment in our region, and across the nation," said Dr. Ruiz. "By finding pragmatic ways to turn our competitive advantage strengths into opportunities, we can help promote job growth in key areas of our economy. My jobs plan focuses on growing our health care and renewable energy workforce, expanding trade, and attracting foreign investment to our region so we can help our business community expand, create new, good-paying jobs, and improve the long-term economic outlook for our Valley."
