Today Congresswoman Dina Titus of Nevada's First District and Congresswoman Susan Brooks (R-IN) sent a letter to President Barack Obama encouraging him to quickly nominate a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator who is not only focused on addressing the evolving threats from terrorists, but also committed to continuing and expanding the important Risk Based Security initiatives, such as TSA PreCheck, that were started by former Administrator John Pistole.
"Travel and tourism are critical to our economy in Southern Nevada, but also to the United States," said Titus. "It is important that the President nominates an individual who understands the value of this industry to our economy and builds on the existing risk based security programs."
