Today, Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham (NM-01) released the following statement in response to the Senate Intelligence Committee report on the C.I.A. Interrogation Program:
"I am repulsed by the details of the torture that the C.I.A. used against detainees," Rep. Lujan Grisham said. "These actions go against our moral fabric as a nation that values human rights. Perhaps just as disturbing is the lengths to which the C.I.A. is going to discredit the reports of torture, rather than committing to changing the culture that led to these egregious acts of violence."
