Cramer Statement on BNSF's $326 MILLION Rail Improvement Announcement

Today Congressman Kevin Cramer issued the following statement after BNSF Railway Company announced it will invest $326 million in North Dakota rail capacity improvement and maintenance projects as part of a record $6 billion capital commitment nationwide:

"In recent weeks, the backlog of grain car orders in North Dakota has been substantially reduced. Part of this improvement can certainly be attributed to the capital improvement projects BNSF is undertaking, and I am pleased their 2015 plan includes further significant investments in our state. This, along with their record-setting commitment to improve the entire U.S. rail network, will help North Dakota's resources get to market safely and quickly."
