Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08), Chairman of the Transportation Security Subcommittee, released the following statement after the President signed his bill, the Transportation Security Acquisition Reform Act (H.R. 2719), into law.

"As Chairman, I set out to increase transparency and accountability at TSA while keeping travelers safe and saving our tax dollars. This law is an important step that will root out the waste at TSA and increase safety by ensuring that the most effective, cost-efficient security tools are implemented. Despite Washington's gridlock, the bipartisan support of this law shows that Republicans and Democrats can work together to solve problems."
