While I am overjoyed by the overdue release of Alan Gross, the naïve and misguided policy changes announced today by President Obama will only encourage the resolve of other ruthless dictators like the Castro brothers. The Castro Regime remains a flagrant violator of human rights. Any attempt to normalize relations, before Cuba's total disregard of liberty is ended, is just appeasement at the expense of the oppressed.
