McCaul Welcomes New Members to the Committee on Homeland Security

Today, U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, released the following statement welcoming new Republican members to the committee:

Chairman McCaul: "Today, we face unprecedented challenges to our national security -- from the ever-evolving terror threat from al-Qaeda, its affiliates and ISIS to the growing cyber threat and an insecure border. The security of our citizens depends on our preparedness to meet these challenges. I am honored to welcome the new Republican members of the committee for the 114th Congress. Each of these individuals are extremely dedicated and I look forward to working with all the members of the committee on both sides of the aisle to ensure DHS is capable of carrying out its core mission of protecting the homeland."
