Governor Hassan Statement on New Hampshire Health Protection Program Enrollment Numbers

With 25, 206 Granite Staters receiving health coverage through the state's bipartisan health care expansion plan -- the New Hampshire Health Protection Program -- as of December 1, Governor Maggie Hassan issued the following statement:

"Earlier this year, we worked across party lines to take a historic step forward for the health and financial well-being of our people and businesses by passing our bipartisan health care expansion plan. In less than half a year, more than 25,000 Granite Staters have gained access to critical coverage that will strengthen their health and economic security, about half of the hard-working people that the program was originally projected to serve in a two-year period. I look forward to the New Hampshire Health Protection Program continuing its success as even more of our people access the financial security and peace of mind that comes with quality, affordable health insurance."
