Statement from Governor Hassan on Fred Fuller Oil

Governor Maggie Hassan today issued the following statement after the bankruptcy court's approval of the sale of Fred Fuller Oil to Rymes Propane & Oil:

"The approval of this agreement is good news, helping ensure that Fuller pre-buy customers will have access to the critical heating oil that they need this winter. On behalf of the people of New Hampshire, I would like to thank Rymes and Sprague for working together to reach an agreement, as well as Attorney General Foster and U.S. Attorney Kacavas for their efforts. I also want to thank Senator Shaheen for her part in this process. Combined with the thoughtful and fair consideration of the bankruptcy court, the hard work of all those involved will help avoid the emergency situations that customers faced last winter."
