Hudson Statement on Extension of Iran Nuclear Talks

Statement

Date: Nov. 25, 2014
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Foreign Affairs

Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement reacting to the extension of Iran nuclear talks:

"I remain deeply concerned about extending negotiations with Iran without considering additional sanctions. It appears that President Obama is more concerned with reaching a deal -- any deal -- than he is with stopping Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapons capability. We need to continue to tighten sanctions unless and until Iran is ready to begin negotiating in good faith to indefinitely end its nuclear program."
