Gov. John Hickenlooper today issued the following statement in response to President Obama's executive order on immigration:
"It is regrettable that congressional inaction on comprehensive immigration reform has compelled President Obama to exercise his executive power on this issue. The plans outlined in last night's speech will hopefully spur bipartisan action to fix our nation's broken immigration system. We hope that Congress will finish the job."
