Peters Statement on Jerusalem Synagogue Attack

Today, U.S. Representative Gary Peters (MI-14) released the following statement on the attack at a synagogue in Jerusalem, Israel that killed five people, including three Americans:

"My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by today's attack on worshippers in a Jerusalem synagogue. Today's horrific attack took the lives of five people, including three Americans, one of whom was Rabbi Aryeh Kupinsky, who grew up in the community of Oak Park. We must condemn this attack and the many other brutal acts of violence against civilians because the murder of innocent civilians, whether they are Israelis or Palestinians, is never justified."
