Following today's announcement that New Hampshire's unemployment rate dropped to 4.2 percent in October, Governor Maggie Hassan issued the following statement:
"Today's announcement that our unemployment rate dropped again in October to 4.2 percent, the seventh-lowest rate in the nation and significantly lower than the national average, is another encouraging sign that our economy continues to move in the right direction, and we must build on it by continuing to work together to support job-creating businesses, expand middle class opportunity and make progress for our people, families and businesses."
