Cotton Votes to Approve Keystone Pipeline

Statement

Congressman Tom Cotton (R-Dardanelle) released the following statement on today's passage of legislation to approve the Keystone Pipeline:

"Just as it did last year, today the House voted once again to approve the Keystone Pipeline. This pipeline is a win for our state economy. Not only would it lower Arkansans energy costs, but it would also create hundreds of jobs in the Natural State at places like Welspun Tubular. Unfortunately, President Obama has continued to play political games with this important project and it is now clear he's interested in nothing more than appeasing his liberal allies. I urge the President to put politics aside and approve the Keystone Pipeline immediately. And if he fails to address this situation, Arkansans can rest assured the Keystone Pipeline will remain one of my top priorities in the months ahead."
