Dr. Brian Babin released the following statement regarding the City of Houston's decision to rescind subpoenas issued to local pastors.

"After nearly a month of prayers and public outcry from pastors and community leaders the City of Houston has rescinded subpoenas requiring pastors to turnover sermons. I am glad to see such a united public response against this clear infringement on religious freedom. I applaud the five brave pastors who persevered in the wake of the city's ongoing persecution."

"Throughout America's history, many brave men and women have died in the service of this country as they fought to defend our God-given freedoms. Any attempt to dilute or deny our freedoms must not be tolerated. I am proud to stand with the Houston pastors and stand strong for America's religious freedom."
