Assemblywoman Grace Meng -- the Democratic nominee for the newly drawn 6th Congressional District -- today stood along side a slew of elected officials who joined forces in support of her candidacy. Amongst those in attendance included United States Senator Charles Schumer, Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, Congressman Gary Ackerman, Senator Tony Avella, Senator Jose Peralta, Senator Toby Stavisky, Senator Joe Addabbo, Assembly Member Michael Simanowitz, Assembly Member Phil Goldfeder, Assembly Member Ed Braunstein, Assembly Member Mike Miller, Council Member Peter Koo, Council Member Mark Weprin, Council Member Karen Koslowitz, Council Member Peter F. Vallone, Jr., Council Member Elizabeth Crowley, Assembly Candidate Ron Kim and Assembly Candidate Nily Rozic.
