In the final weeks of the campaign before Election Day, Ryan Zinke has shown himself to be the clear frontrunner in the race for Montana's lone Congressional seat.
Zinke closed out the 3rd fundraising quarter with over $1.9 million dollars raised during the period. The continued support shown in the latest fundraising report that accounts for all contributions made in the 15 day period from October 1st to October 15th is just as astonishing.
Zinke once again raised more than double what Lewis was able to raise from his supporters. The majority of Ryan Zinke's support comes from smaller individual donors who contribute under $200. The report numbers for Ryan Zinke are as follows:
Total Receipts for Period: $447,692.12
Total Receipts to Date: $3,982,222.89
Total Disbursements for Period: $318,436.66
Total Disbursements to Date: $3,361,710.14
Remaining Cash on Hand: $620,046.25
"I am so grateful for the support of so many individuals and will continue to focus my efforts on talking about the issues facing Montanans, running a positive campaign, and working hard to succeed on Election Day," said Zinke.
"Support for Ryan Zinke from voters has continued to increase as election day draws nearer," said Zinke campaign spokeswoman Shelby DeMars. "Ryan Zinke's message of more leadership, less politics, and getting government out of the way of hard working Montanans is something that all Montanans can support--Montana voters don't want life-long D.C. insider John Lewis and his partisan politics."
