In the final debate in the race for Montana's lone Congressional seat, voters in Great Falls and around Montana were able to see the candidates debate the many issues facing our state. What they witnessed provided a clear contrast between the candidates for Congress and showed decisively that Ryan Zinke is best suited to represent Montanans in Congress.

National security was at the top of the list of issues discussed at the debate. While John Lewis showed his naiveté on important topics such as the spread of Ebola and addressing the threat of ISIS, Ryan Zinke displayed his depth of understanding on the issues and how to address them.

John Lewis spent the majority of the debate slinging mud, clearly feeling the need to play defense after a week of poor fundraising numbers and negative poll results.

"Lewis tried to tout his experience, but the fact is, he has little to no experience to tout," said Zinke campaign spokesperson Shelby DeMars. "He spent over a decade working as a D.C. staffer and is beholden to his allies in Washington. Montanans deserve a representative like Ryan Zinke who will work for them and that they can trust."

"Most Americans want a government they can trust, that will move the ball up the field, and that will fix problems," said Ryan Zinke. "Our government isn't doing that right now. We need to get government back on track and make government work for Montana--not the other way around."
