Release: Zinke for Congress Releases Ad Announcing Support of David Keene, Former NRA President

Ryan Zinke, candidate for Montana's lone Congressional seat, 23 year Navy veteran, and former Commander at SEAL Team Six, launched an ad that includes the support of former National Rifle Association President David Keene.

The ad begins with Keene's comments on how John Lewis is pretending to support the 2nd Amendment in order to get elected. Keene emphasizes that Lewis will fall in step with President Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and D.C. gun control advocate Steny Hoyer.

The endorsement from David Keene reads as follows:

"John Lewis is running for Congress in Montana, so naturally he says he's pro-gun. Don't be fooled. Congressman Steny Hoyer, whom I know well, admits he wants John Lewis in Washington to help him, Nancy Pelosi, and Barack Obama get their anti-gun legislation passed.

I know Ryan Zinke personally. He'll work to defeat the gun-grabbers' agenda. "

"I am honored to have the support of David Keene," said Ryan Zinke. "He is a great leader and one of the most influential advocates of the 2nd Amendment. I am glad he has joined me in setting the record straight against the lies being spread by my opponent."

Keene's statement confirms what many Montanans expected all along--that John Lewis is misleading Montanans to get elected, and he is running a campaign full of Lewis Lies. When Lewis chose to campaign in Montana with Steny Hoyer, it was a revelation of his true position in support of gun control.

"Lewis is closely aligned with anti-gun supporters--and contrary to his claims, his actions show that not only is he a fervent supporter of stricter gun laws, but he is a liar. David Keene has exposed John Lewis for what he really is--an anti-gun, D.C. insider and a sportsman's worst nightmare," said campaign spokeswoman Shelby DeMars.
