According to the Republican platform, "We support the belief that parents are responsible for their children's education and that parents, teachers, and local school boards can make the best decisions about our children's education," and I couldn't agree more.
Twin Cities schools historically receive far more funding per student than our local school districts. This is just one example of the inequalities within our state education system that needs to be addressed.
