From the Field: Get Out the Vietnamese Vote!

Houston is home to a large Vietnamese population, many of whom support Senator Cornyn due to his longstanding opposition to human rights violations in Vietnam, emphasis on small business, and commitment to policies that make the American Dream possible.

Senator Cornyn spoke to supporters earlier this week about the importance of their vote this November. Any group that wants a seat at the table of policy discussions in Washington can further their goal by consistently showing up to elections as a reliable voting block.

"The third most commonly spoke language in Texas is Vietnamese. They deserve a right to take part in the political process."

We are lucky to have great supporters in the Vietnamese community in Houston who work hard every weekend to talk to voters in Hong Kong Plaza about the Senator.
